How Can I Update My Billing Details in Billed?

You can update new billing details instantly inside your Billed account. Keeping your billing details updated will ensure a smooth automatic payment process. You can update your billing details anytime with these steps:

  • Click on the “View Subscription” Button from the top-right corner beside “+ New.”
  • Click on “Payment Method” to update the new details.
  • Now, add your card details. 
  • Click on the “Update” button to save the new billing information.

(Once you have done this, your next payment will be charged using the new billing information)

Why is Billed not saving my credit card details?

You must are facing some of the following common issues:

  • Your credit card’s expiration date format could be different. That could be either MM/YY or MM/YYYY.
  • Check what type of card you are using. Credit cards must be a Visa, Amex, Discover, or Mastercard. Billed doesn’t accept debit cards.
  • Manually add all the details to avoid any inconvenience.

Why did my automated payments decline?

Payments can be declined due to the following reasons:

  • Insufficient Balance: Check whether your account balance is enough to make the payment. Sometimes the transaction fee and the exchange rate make things complicated. So, keep all these things in your mind.
  • Wrong Card Details: Keep your card details updated to avoid any inconvenience. 
  • Bank’s Authorization Required: Some banks don’t let you make recurring payments without Authorization. So, contact your bank to solve this issue.
