How Do I Use My Dashboard?

The dashboard shows the highlights of your business activities. It also includes the cash flows history and progress graphs. You can have a glance at your business progress through the dashboard. 

We will cover all the details related to the dashboard in the following points:

New Button

The "New" button at the top-right corner works as a quick button. You can click the "New" button and select invoice, expense, estimate, project, client, or item. 

Whatever you select, you can start creating it immediately. For instance, if you have selected an invoice option, it will let you make an invoice. 

Search bar

The dashboard includes a search bar at the top of the page that lets you search your data in your Billed account. You can search clients, projects, estimates, expenses, etc. 

Get Help

Click on the help icon beside the search bar to get help. Here you can write your problem and find its solution in the knowledge base.

Different Dashboard Views

You can view the dashboard details in the following ways:

  • Today View: If you select the "Today" option from the top-right corner, the dashboard will show you the graph and details of the current day.
  • Weekly View: If you select the "Weekly" option from the top-right corner, the dashboard will show you the graph and details of the current week.
  • Monthly View: If you select the "Monthly" option from the top-right corner, the dashboard will show you the graph and details of the current month.
  • Yearly View: If you select the "Yearly" option from the top-right corner, the dashboard will show you the graph and details of the current year.

Cashflow Details

The dashboard shows the following cash flow details:

  • Invoiced: It shows the total invoiced amount of the current day, week, month, or year.
  • Payments: It shows the total balance of the payments collected on that day, week, month, or year.
  • Expenses: It shows the total balance of expenses incurred on that day, week, month, or year.
  • Total Profit: It shows the total balance of profit generated on that day, week, month, or year.

Graphs

You can view the following graphs on the dashboard:

Bar Graph

The bar graph shows the total invoices, payments, and expenses. You can switch between today, weekly, monthly, and yearly to view the graph details accordingly.

  • Total Invoices Amount: Blue
  • Total Payments Collected: Green
  • Total Expenses: Orange

Income Vs. Expenses Graph

You can see the income vs. expenses graph on the dashboard. It's a line graph with a green line representing income and a blue line representing expenses. 

You can switch between today, weekly, monthly, and yearly to view the concerned details of the graph.

Other Details

  • Activity: In this section of the dashboard you can see all the recent activities.

  • Top Selling Products/Services: This section in the dashboard shows your top-selling products and services.
  • Recent Invoices: This section in the dashboard shows your recent invoices.
  • Outstanding Invoices: Here, you can view all those invoices whose balance is outstanding.
